WinBIZ: approved entries, ready for the import module.
The WinBIZ Cloud API is reserved for partners approved by the vendor. Dossivio is not one of them: approved entries go through the WinBIZ entry import module, in the format it documents.

How Dossivio connects to WinBIZ
- Documents are received, read and approved in Dossivio.
- Dossivio produces a file in the import module's format (simple entries), one line per entry, with the reference of the archived document.
- You run the import in WinBIZ. Entries split across several accounts still have to be keyed in by hand, as compound entries cannot be imported.
What Dossivio adds
- All channels in one place: dedicated email, upload portal, scan and photo, not just the mobile app.
- The right file: for an accounting firm, each document is matched to the right client and financial year before it enters the books.
- Checks before payment: a duplicate received through two channels, an IBAN that differs from the one known for the supplier, inconsistent VAT.
- The exception queue: whatever fails a rule is set aside with its reason, never booked at random.
- Missing documents: the status of expected documents per client, with chase-ups drafted.
An authorised person approves each entry before it goes out. Nothing is booked or paid automatically at the start.

Frequently asked questions
Is Dossivio a WinBIZ partner?
No. That is why the connection goes through file import, which WinBIZ documents publicly.
WinBIZ desktop and WinBIZ Cloud: same method?
Yes for file import, with one difference: Excel import only exists in the desktop version. The CSV file works on both.
What about the scanning apps in the WinBIZ App Store?
They are fine if you handle few receipts. Dossivio is useful when documents arrive through several channels or for several clients.
